Sophia is a Clinical Psychologist with a long-held interest in the workings of the human mind, and the meaning behind how and why we suffer.
She is passionate about providing evidence-based therapy that blends the latest neuroscience findings with ancient wisdom and indigenous healing traditions.

Sophia’s approach is warm and non-judgmental, with a deep respect and curiosity for the workings of our inner worlds.
She draws on a range of approaches, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.

Sophia has a particular interest in emerging areas of practice that incorporate the wisdom of the body, such as therapeutic breathwork, Somatic Experiencing and the Comprehensive Resource Model, and is excited about the research that is currently underway in these areas.
In her personal life, Sophia has studied and practiced yoga, breathwork and various forms of meditation for over 17 years. She is a self-confessed book nerd and eternal student, who remains passionate about helping to bridge the gap between modern-day psychology and ancient healing traditions.
